This game can be brutal when starting out. Later on, it can still be brutal That being said, the community on this server has been nothing but awesome to me! Here's a few tips to help you get started:
- You can and will drop items when you die. In addition you will be teleported to a hospital upon death. This can create a problem if you are on a new map that is too strong for your character. You may find yourself trapped in a hospital without all of your gear and without the ability to get back to a safe map. If this is the case....the community is your best bet for getting your guy (or girl) back to safety.
-Durability's (a.k.a. Dura's) drop almost everywhere, and while they can be used to bring you back to life I recommend saving them. They can also be used to purchase items you will want later in the game. So save up (I know I am).
- Specific character types that I've tried will use the following stats. Generally you want to put in enough power to stay alive but otherwise put your points into your main stat so you can 1-hit. Keep in mind, even when you are 1-hitting a map, odds have it, you won't be on the next one, so only put in enough power to stay alive. Your armor will keep getting better as you gain levels and the added defense will help a lot! Below are the types I've tried thus far and how to build them:
Cannon - Strength and Power
Philar - Spirit and Power
Kitara - Spirit and Power
Azlar - Spirit and Power (I would recommend an Azlar as they are super easy to get started, but I prefer Strength characters myself)
Jarex - Strength and Power
Sadad - Strength and Power
Lavita - Dexterity and Power
Destino - I don't actually know - looking to start one soon
Lunarina - I don't actually know - looking to start one soon
I'm certain there are a million more tips and tricks folks know that will make your life much easier, but I'm not one of those people, so this is the best I have to offer. I hope this helps, good luck and I hope to see you in game!
My main character is BoomBastic (although I usually bounce between a few different ones). Feel free to give me a shout online!
